According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave.
